Entri uses role-based access control (RBAC) to give you fine-grained control over what each team member can see and do. Every member of your organization is assigned exactly one role.

Roles overview

Owner

Full control over the organization, all projects, and billing. Only the Owner can delete the organization or transfer ownership.

Admin

Manage projects, translation keys, and team members. Cannot access or change billing settings.

Developer

Create and manage translation keys, import and export files. Cannot invite or remove team members.

Translator

Update translation values for assigned languages. Cannot create, rename, or delete keys.

Reviewer

Review translations and set their status to Approved. Read-only access to keys; cannot edit translation content.

Changing a member’s role

Only Owners and Admins can change roles.

Open Organization Settings

Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select the Members tab.

Find the member

Locate the team member whose role you want to update.

Select a new role

Click the role badge next to their name and choose a new role from the dropdown. The change takes effect immediately.
Downgrading a member’s role takes effect immediately. If you demote an Admin to Developer, they lose access to team management features right away.

Ownership transfer

To transfer ownership of the organization, go to Settings > General and use the Transfer Ownership option. The new owner must already be a member of the organization. After the transfer, your role changes to Admin.
